The Kerala State Beverages Corporation (BEVCO) has announced a revision in the prices of liquor, which will come into effect on Monday, 27 January.
The prices of 341 brands from 62 companies will see an increase, ranging from ₹10 to ₹50.

For example, the government-owned Jawan brand will see a price hike of ₹10, bringing its cost to ₹650, up from the previous price of ₹640.
Old Port Rum will also rise by ₹30, now priced at ₹780, compared to its earlier rate of ₹750.
Similarly, Mansion House Brandy will witness a ₹10 increase, raising its price to ₹1050, while Morpheus Brandy will cost ₹1400, a ₹50 jump from its earlier price of ₹1350.
In contrast, 107 brands from 45 companies have had their prices reduced as part of the revised pricing structure.
The adjusted rates aim to balance the market demands and streamline the pricing mechanism.
