In a deeply disturbing case, Kochi Aluva police have arrested a 30-year-old man after his mother filed a complaint alleging repeated sexual assault.
The woman, a resident of Aluva, approached police stating she had endured multiple incidents of abuse by her son and could no longer bear the trauma.
Based on her statement, an FIR was registered and the accused was taken into custody. Neighbors reportedly confirmed her claims, saying they frequently heard her screams, especially when the son returned home.
The accused was presented before a magistrate and remanded to judicial custody. Police have initiated a detailed investigation, including a medical examination and witness testimonies.
