Minu Muneer
Actor Minu Muneer was arrested by the Ernakulam Cyber Police on charges of defaming and threatening veteran actor-director Balachandra Menon through social media platforms.
The arrest comes shortly after the Kerala High Court rejected her anticipatory bail plea. Menon had filed a complaint in 2024, alleging blackmail, online abuse, and defamation.
According to police, Minu is the prime accused in the case, and investigations are ongoing to identify others who may have been involved.
