A 21-year-old model who was brought up in Mumbai, Sini Shetty will now go on to represent India at the Miss World Pageant 2022.

Karnataka’s Sini Sadanand Shetty grabbed the Femina Miss India World 2022 title at the grand finale of the pageant competition hosted in Mumbai’s Jio World Convention on Sunday, 3 July.
Miss India 2022 Manasa Varanasi from Telangana presented her successor Sini with the Femina Miss India 2022 crown.
Sini Shetty will now represent India at the 71st Miss World pageant contest.
Rajasthan’s Rubal Shekhawat was the Femina Miss India 2022 first runner-up.
Shinata Chauhan from Uttar Pradesh was named the second runner-up.
Winners of the star-studded event were announced on the official Instagram handle of Femina Miss India with the caption, “Congratulations, Let’s pop the champagne! [sic]”

The post further read, “These ladies have a powerful voice and we’re sure that they’re going to use this platform to further all the important causes that they believe in. We’ve seen the passion with which they’ve worked for these titles and must say that they deserve every bit of this. Congratulations, ladies- it’s time to celebrate.”
Soon after winning the Femina Miss India World 2022 title, Sini took to Twitter to write, “Thanks for all your lovely wishes I hope I made Karnataka proud. Can’t wait to start this new journey and make India proud Keep showering all your love and blessings and I love y’all. [sic]”

The jury of the pageant included actors Dino Morea, Malaika Arora, and Neha Dhupia, designers Rahul Khanna and Rohit Gandhi, former cricketer Mithali Raj, and choreographer Shiamak Davar.
Maniesh Paul hosted the event, and the evening witnessed dance performances by actors Kriti Sanon, Lauren Gottlieb, and Ash Chandler.
Who is Sini Shetty?
Sini Sadanand Shetty was born in Karnataka and brought up in Mumbai.
The 21-year-old model has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, and is currently studying to be a Chartered Financial Analyst.
According to several media reports, Sini had completed her Arangetram in Bharatanatyam at the age of 14.
