Actor-DJ Siddhant Kapoor was among the six who were detained by the Bengaluru Police late at night on Sunday, 12 June, for allegedly consuming drugs.

According to the police, many including Siddhanth were partying at a hotel located on MG Road in Bengaluru when they conducted a raid following a tipoff.

The cops are still unclear if the drugs were consumed before or after those detained arrived at the venue.

They have filed a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act in this regard.

Meanwhile, his father, actor Shakti Kapoor, reacted to the news by claiming that “it’s not possible,” saying that he is finding it hard to believe that his son was detained by the cops.

Bollywood and drugs

In 2020, Shraddha Kapoor was questioned by the Mumbai Police as they probed a drug angle in the case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.

Earlier this year, Shah Rukh Khan’s eldest son Aryan Khan was in jail nearly for a month in the Mumbai cruise ship drug case before he was released on bail. He was recently given a clean chit by the NCB in the case.
