Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, has unveiled a new engineering curriculum for the academic year, developed with feedback from over 2,000 teachers, 3,000 students, and industry leaders, including Information Technology and Biotechnology companies.

For the first time, the university collaborated extensively with stakeholders to align academic content with industry needs. The syllabus, finalised by a committee of professors, industrialists, and experts, includes cutting-edge subjects like quantum computing and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

AI has now been made an integral part of every engineering course, reflecting its growing relevance across all technical fields.
