STAMP challenge winners announced to boost sustainable mobility in Bengaluru

BMRCL, BMTC, ELCIA, and Toyota Mobility Foundation, in collaboration with WRI India, have announced the winners of the STAMP: Nudging Commuter Behaviour challenge aimed at promoting sustainable transport in Bengaluru. CommuteVerse, Nippon Koei, Orbit Wallet, and Tummoc were selected from 32 applicants and will share a $100,000 grant to pilot their mobility solutions starting August 2025 in and around Electronics City.
Launched in April 2025, the challenge focused on gamification, real-time behavioural nudges, and inclusive last-mile connectivity to shift commuters from private vehicles to public transport, with winners receiving enterprise support, mentorship, and funding for implementation.
