Karnataka secures Rs 5,500 crore investment pipeline from US innovation roadshow

Karnataka has concluded a successful 10-day roadshow across the United States, securing prospective investments worth ₹5,500 crore across sectors such as infrastructure, R&D, and talent development. The investments are projected to generate over 7,200 jobs, with more in the pipeline. Held between 16 and 25 June, the roadshow was led by Dr Ekroop Caur, Secretary of the Department of Electronics, IT/BT, and Sharath Bachegowda, MLA and KEONICS Chairman.

The delegation visited Boston, New York, and San Francisco, engaging over 120 companies, signing Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and Letters of Intent, and attending global events like the BIO International Convention and Design Automation Conference (DAC). Academic partnerships were also explored with MIT and Stanford’s StartX incubator, focusing on AI, cancer research, fabless chip design, and deep-tech acceleration.
