Directs the establishment of ORS corners

The circular further directed all health institutions to establish ORS corners and equip heat stroke management rooms with essential facilities such as fans, ice cubes, and thermometers.

All health facilities at every level have been instructed to submit daily reports on Heat-Related Illnesses (HRIs cases through the Integrated Health Information Platform (IHIP).

The government said that if health problems such as heat stroke occur due to extreme heat and heat waves, further risks and deaths can be avoided with proper management.
