Starting 27 July, people in Bengaluru can join Cubbon Walks, a 90-minute guided weekend tour through Cubbon Park, aimed at exploring its rich ecology and history. Conducted every Saturday and Sunday at 7.30 am, the walks will be led by retired experts and supported by horticulture officials.
Each session will start from a different gate to showcase new trails and biodiversity. Participants will learn about ants, spiders, reptiles, birds, seasonal flowers, and rare trees.
Bookings open online from 21 July, priced at ₹200 for adults and ₹50 for children. Each group is capped at 30 people. The initiative aims to raise ecological awareness and will soon expand to Lalbagh in August.
