British High Commissioner Visits KSDL, MB Patil Showcases Mysore Sandal Legacy

British High Commissioner to India, Ms. Lindy Cameron, and Deputy HC to Karnataka & Kerala, Shri Chandru Iyer, were warmly welcomed by Minister MB Patil at Karnataka Soaps & Detergents Ltd (KSDL), the maker of the iconic Mysore Sandal Soap. Patil led a tour of the factory, highlighting the brand’s 100-year legacy, purity, and global appeal.

Ms. Cameron praised the authenticity of the sandalwood-based products. With exports to 23 countries, KSDL now aims to enter European markets. Chairman Shri C.S. Nadagouda and senior officials joined the visit to promote Karnataka’s proud global brand.
