On Friday, 4 July, select students in Bengaluru will engage in a live 11-12 minute interaction with Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, pilot of the Axiom-4 space mission, following his recent meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Organised by AMSAT India and Upagraha Amateur Radio Club in coordination with ARISS, the session at UR Rao Satellite Centre (URSC) will feature 15-16 pre-selected questions.
Though not open to the public, this marks the third such space interaction for Indian students. The communication will be relayed to a US-based HAM radio station via teleconferencing. Trials for seamless transmission are underway.
