Students attending CET examination near Sree Kanteerava Stadium are advised to reach their centres before 8:30 am.
In view of the swearing-in ceremony of the new chief minister, deputy chief minister, and other ministers at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium on Saturday, 20 May, elaborate security measures have been put in place in and around the venue in Central Bengaluru to ensure that the event goes on without a hitch amid the presence of several national-level leaders and leaders from other states.
According to police sources, a total of three platforms/stages have been set up and LED screens have been installed for people to watch the swearing-in ceremony.
Police officials also said that traffic movement has been managed with appropriate restrictions and diversions to ensure smooth flow of traffic.
Moreover, the traffic police has announced a helpline number for students attending the Common Entrance Test (CET) — that is also happening on Saturday — especially in centres located around educational institutions close to the stadium.
Members of the general public moving to and from the Central Business District (CBD) area near the stadium are expected to be inconvenienced between 9:30 am and 2:30 pm, and the city traffic police has issued an advisory regarding restrictions and diversions.
