The Bengaluru Central City Corporation said teams had been deployed in the affected areas to remove blockages.
Heavy rain caused waterlogging at several junctions, brought down trees and led to the collapse of two compound walls in central Bengaluru on Tuesday, 15 September evening.
In Domlur, a military compound wall collapsed, reportedly trapping cattle, while another gave way at Nanjamma Agrahara in Chamarajpet. No injuries were reported in either incident.
Water stagnation was reported at Mayo Hall Court Junction, Trinity Circle, Anil Kumble Junction, UB City Junction, Tonique Junction, near Mount Carmel College and on Sankey Road, among other locations.
Stormwater drains overflowed on Nala Road in Shivajinagar. A tree also fell near the Shivajinagar bus stand.
The Bengaluru Central City Corporation said waterlogging had been cleared near Garuda Mall Junction, Old Airport Road, SJP Road, RV Teachers’ College and the KR Market ramp.
The corporation said control-room teams had been deployed in the affected areas to remove blockages.
