Investigators said Nagawara resident SG Imran checked into the Taj Hotel near Kempegowda International Airport with his daughters, Shaik Zehera, 5, and Shaik Zoya, 10. He allegedly strangled the girls before slitting his throat in a suspected suicide bid.
Hotel security personnel who responded to Imran’s screams barged into the room where they found him bleeding. The girls had died by then, police said.
The man was rushed to a hospital, where he was stated to be out of danger.
Police found a note, purportedly written by Imran, in the room. The note mentioned marital disputes and allegations of his wife’s infidelity. Investigators were now verifying the veracity of the allegations.
