Representatives of the National Bulls Association (NBA) on Sunday approached the highest court of the land with a bitter grouse. They no longer want to lend their names to bulldozers.

Miffed over the infamy bulldozers are gaining across the country, the association that is vested with the responsibility of safeguarding pride, honour and respect of bulls — wild, domesticated, or abandoned on the streets — has pointed to misuse of bulls’ name in equipment used to pull down homes of people.

“When we agreed to lend our names to this monstrous construction equipment, we were assured that bulldozers would only be used for nation-building exercises. We considered it part of our nationalist duties to contribute. We are today disappointed,” President of NBA told Satire Satya. The association claimed bulldozers razing down homes, pulling down shops and establishments indiscriminately has brought much shame to bulls within their circles.

After their talks with bulldozer owners, to drop ‘bull’ from the name, failed, the association has approached the court as a last resort. “Our plea is to either drop ‘bull’ from bulldozers or direct that they be used only in construction and not destruction,” the plea said.
