Court has issued notices to Khan and manufacturer, wherein the hearing set for 27 November 2025. Neither of the party has responded yet.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been issued a notice by the Kota District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission following a complaint over his endorsement of a pan masala brand, which has been called “misleading.”

The complaint was filed by senior BJP leader and Rajasthan High Court advocate Inder Mohan Singh Honey, who raised concerns over the truthfulness of the product’s advertising claims.

The Rajshree pan masala ad, endorsed by Khan, reportedly claims that it contains “saffron-infused cardamom” and “saffron-infused pan masala.” The BJP leader highlighted that the inclusion of saffron in such a low-priced product is implausible, noting that saffron can cost up to ₹4 lakh/kg.

The court has formally issued notices to Salman Khan and the pan masala manufacturer, seeking their response.
