Science Gallery Bengaluru opens its door to the public with a unique exhibition on carbon

The exhibition kicked off on 19 January, 2024 at 4 pm on Bellary Road.

Bengaluru is now home to a new landmark. Often called as the Silicon Valley of India, and Science City, Bengaluru can now boast a world-class science gallery.

Science Gallery Bengaluru opened its doors to public on 19 January, 2024. The gallery is touted to be a dynamic new space for engaging young adults at the interface of the human and natural sciences, engineering, and art.

Celebrations begin

Jhanvi Phalkey, historian of Science and Founding Director of Science Gallery Bengaluru, is in a celebratory mood, after this historic moment.

Dr CN Ashwath Narayan, former Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka joined in to cheer the crew behind it.

Carbon calling

The doors open with an exhibition to explore the wonders of carbon, allowing students and enthusiasts of Science to understand the blend of science and art. The exhibition kicked off on 19 January, 2024 at 4 pm on Bellary Road.

Other influential icons including Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Executive Chairperson of Biocon Limited, and early stage investor Prashanth Prakash lauded the efforts of the team and the government.

Tuesday – Thursday: 10 AM – 6 PM

Science Gallery Bengaluru is located next to the CBI bus stop on Bellary road. Buses from Shivajinagar and Majestic to Hebbal or Yelahanka stop here.
