Minmini: Hyperlocal mobile app to serve global Tamil audience launched

A mobile application that aims at bringing global Tamil diaspora closer was launched in Chennai on Monday, 22 January, 2024. Called Minmini, the app will also serve as a digital platform for content creators.

It will offer instant chatting facilities across geographies, news among others. With this, Tamilians across the globe can congregate to feel a sense of camaraderie and togetherness.

Bringing the community closer

The app will be digital platform for content creators, citizen journalists and verified reporters along with multi-channel networks handpicked by a team.

“We are immensely proud and excited to launch Minmini, focused exclusively on the global Tamil fraternity,” Minmini Executive Vice President S Shriram said.

“We are quite sure that our users will enjoy the unique interface of the application. The various interesting features that we offer among a host of other revenue opportunities for creators,” he said.

The app will feature thousands of service providers such as electricians, plumbers, carpenters, etc. across each locality in Tamil Nadu over time, so users can instantly look-up for such personnel. With its unique advertising packages, Minmini will offer a hyper-competitive way to reach the intended audience.

The application is available for download from Google Play Store and Apple Store.
