Here’s how you can celebrate Republic Day if you are in Bengaluru

As India gears up to celebrate its 75th Republic Day on January 26, 2024, schools, colleges, offices, civic groups and institutions across the country prepare to honour this historic milestone. It is on this day in 1950, when the Constitution of India officially came into effect, declaring the nation a sovereign, socialist, secular, and democratic republic.

This is a significant opportunity to reflect upon the spirit of democracy, resilience, and the onward journey keeping the principles laid out in the Constitution alive in practice. The Republic Day is a day to commemorate the principles of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, fostering a sense of responsibility towards the nation.

As cities and citizens across India bring in the celebrations, if you are looking for unique ways to participate and honour this day, here’s a list of events you can attend if you are in Bengaluru.
