What’s Yash up to?
What has “Rocking Star” Yash or Rocky Bhai — the now-popular nickname given by fans after his character in the hugely-successful KGF movies — been up to these days?
It’s been a year since the release of KGF 2 and since then, there have been speculations about his next film, which is being popularly referred to as Yash 19.
What we do know is that Yash has been busy shooting promotional ads for a few major brands that roped him in after the humongous worldwide success of KGF.
However, a photo of the actor in what looks to be a film shoot has gone viral on social media. It has even caught the attention of his die-hard fans and the film industry who are now all speculating that it could be a working still from the much-expected Yash 19. But question is: Is it a working still or a photo shoot?
Recently, there was alleged news that the director of the Malayalam film Liar’s Dice, Geethu Mohandas, will be directing Yash 19. The excitement was such that some even declared it an official announcement! But alas, is it true? Only time will tell!
What has sparked further speculation is the actor’s trip to Sri Lanka, which garnered a lot of attention when his photos with fans went viral. Many alleged that he was scouting for locations in Sri Lanka for his upcoming film that will hit the theatres in June.

KGF-3 on the cards?
What has not helped in sparking more speculations and rumours is the recent “hint” people believe Hombale Films has dropped about a probable KGF 3 in a tribute video it shared on the anniversary of KGF 2 (2022).
While there is no official confirmation on whether Yash will continue to play Rocky Bhai in KGF 3, we know that Yash has been approached by several Bollywood filmmakers for his next film.
The top offer that made it to the headlines is the project in which he has been offered the role of the mythological character Raavan, alongside Ranbir Kapoor portraying Ram.

Rishab Shetty’s Kerady Studios
After making a mark himself as a successful actor-director and even as a producer, Kantara (2022) director Rishab Shetty is making his entry into the business of film marketing and promotions with his firm Kerady Studios.
Announcing his venture, Rishab tweeted, “Marketing is just as important as the production of a movie to achieve success. Our team, with our experience in producing movies and promoting them, has now started offering marketing and promotion services for films through a platform called Kerady Studios. We believe this platform will connect amazing films with audiences, acting as a bridge between them.”
Kerady in Udupi is where he grew up; a place always close to his heart. “It’s where my passion for cinema began. By dedicating this new initiative to it, we will keep our helpful service to the film industry.”
On the work front, Rishab Shetty is busy with the script of the sequel to Kantara, which is being produced under the Hombale Films banner.
