Mahesh Babu Animal pre-release

Every time a celebrity attends a pre-release event, there would certainly be a business deal between him and the makers. Sometimes, it could be because of close friendship.

But Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu, who doesn’t usually grace such events, surprised everyone with his speech at Animal‘s pre-release event.

After seeing a massive crowd at Malla Reddy University in Hyderabad, the speech came effortlessly for Mahesh Babu.

He admitted that he was a big fan of Ranbir Kapoor. He also defined him (Ranbir) as the best actor in India.

He then praised director Sandeep Reddy Vanga for his taste in producing intense characters.

But it was a moment to cherish for all those present at the venue when Mahesh Babu admitted: “trailer choosaaka naaku mental occhindi” (I went mental after watching the trailer of Animal).

Well, the crowd erupted in cheers after his statement.

When Anil Kapoor invited the star actor on the stage and asked him to dance, Mahesh Babu initially hesitated. But, he finally got on to the stage and waved his hands to the popular tune “Dole dole dil zara zara” from his all-time blockbuster hit Pokiri (2006).

Needless to say, Mahesh Babu was the star attraction and he had a different vibe at the event.

In his speech, Ranbir too confessed his love for Mahesh Babu. The Bollywood actor said Mahesh was the first Superstar he ever met and revealed that he messaged the Tollywood star after watching Okkadu (2003).

The pre-release event for Animal, organised on Monday, 27 November, stood out from the usual events.

The set design and the lively atmosphere created by the stars made it thoroughly entertaining. At one point, even anchor Suma couldn’t help but enjoy the proceedings.

This was the first time a Bollywood movie event was held in Hyderabad on such a massive scale.

Directors SS Rajamouli and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s speech, of course, were again the highlight of the event.

Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol’s camaraderie with each other was a visual feast.
