Vishnu Manchu ropes in international stunt director for ‘Kannappa’

Vishnu Manchu oozed confidence that the action sequences by Kecha Khamphakdee would make the audience spellbound.

Actor Vishnu Manchu’s upcoming film Kannappa will have an internationally renowned stunt director Kecha Khamphakdee choreographing the action sequences.

The International stuntman has a couple of Tollywood and Bollywood films — Thuppakki (2012), Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), Baaghi 2 (2018), and Ponniyin Selvan 1 (2022) — to his credit.

Starring Vishnu Manchu in the lead, Kannappa boasts an ensemble cast of Rebel Star Prabhas, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, and Kannada Superstar Shiva Rajkumar.

Vishnu Manchu said the experience of stunt master Kecha Khamphakdee will make the audience spellbound.

Kecha Khamphakdee’s work resonated with a wide range of audiences. The breathtaking stunts and high-octane action sequences in various movies mirror his unique craft in stunt choreography.

It is learnt that Vishnu Manchu designed Kannappa on an epic scale and it is indeed shaping up to be a cinematic experience for fans.

“Kannappa features a compelling warrior narrative that unfolds with unprecedented action sequences featuring ancient weaponry. It requires specific skill sets, and Kecha was the perfect man for the job who could make everything fresh,” Vishnu added.

A team of 80 skilled stuntmen and rig experts hailing from Thailand and Hong Kong joined the shoot.
