Vineeth Sreenivasan’s gift to actor-brother Dhyan: First-look poster of ‘Varshangalkku Sesham’ launched

The first-look poster of Vineeth Sreenivasan’s upcoming Malayalam film Varshangalkku Sesham (After Many Years) has been unveiled by its makers.

The poster features Dhyan Sreenivasan and Pranav Mohanlal in a song sequence. It also showcases a picture of yesteryear Tamil actor MG Ramachandran aka MGR.

The first-look poster of Varshangalkku Sesham was dropped on 20 December, on the occasion of Dhyan Sreenivasan’s birthday. Earlier in the day, the team wrapped up the shoot of the movie.

A video of the pack-up featuring Vineeth Sreenivasan went viral on social media.

Varshangalkku Sesham was shot for 40 days in more than 50 locations. Around 132 artistes, 1,000 co-artistes, and a 200-member crew were part of the team.

In a post, Vineeth wrote on Facebook: “This morning, at 2 am, on Dhyan’s birthday, we finished shooting Varshangalkku Shesham. I am thankful to god that I have an army of people who are passionate about what they do. This is one film where I saw how beautiful the process of filmmaking can be if every day and everything is planned meticulously.”

He added, “When you respect the light and when you respect nature, it gives you something precious. It gives you its magic. For me, Varshangalkku Shesham was all about realising that, yet again. Our film will be released in April 2024.”

Release in April 2024

Varshangalkku Sesham will join Aadujeevitham and Aavesham in the box-office race in April 2024.

It is helmed by actor-director-producer Vineeth Sreenivasan. The movie marks the reunion of Vineeth and Hridayam actors Pranav Mohanlal and Kalyani Priyadarshan.

It also stars Nivin Pauly, Aju Varghese, Basil Joseph, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Neeraj Madhav, Neeta Pillai, Arjun Lal, Nikhil Nair, and Shaan Rahman in key roles.

It is bankrolled by Visakh Subramaniam, who earlier collaborated with Vineeth for Hridayam (2022).

Vineeth’s actor-brother Dhyan Sreenivasan plays a significant role in Varshangalkku Sesham. The actor shed a few kilos for the role after which, his new look went viral.
