Vaazha to be released on 2 August

The Malayalam film Vaazha-Biopic of A Billion Boys will be released in theatres on 2 August.

On Wednesday, 19, June, the makers announced the release date of Vaazha and unveiled a new poster, featuring the main cast.

The movie is drawing huge expectations because of the promotional material.

It boasts a young cast and crew, promising a sense of freshness.

Earlier this month, the makers launched the first-look poster, which piqued the interest of film lovers.

Vaazha-Biopic of A Billion Boys is directed by Anand Menen, who debuted with Gauthamante Radham (2020).

The Malayalam movie stars Jeomon Jyothir, Saaf Boi, Hashiree, Anuraj, and Amith Mohan Rajeswari in the main roles.
Kottayam Nazeer, Siju Sunny (of Romancham fame), Noby Marcose, Basil Joseph, and Azees Nedumangad in crucial roles.

The screenplay was written by director Vipin Das, who helmed the super hit films Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey (2022) and Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil (2024).

Vipin Das is also bankrolling the project under his banner WBTS Productions, in collaboration with Haris Desom, PB Anish, and Adarsh Narayan of Imagin Cinemas.

Aravind Puthussery and Kannan Mohan are the cinematographers.

Babu Pillai is the art director.

According to Vipin Das, Vaazha has loads of humour and is an emotional film focusing on men’s issues that are rarely discussed. The film would be a male version of his Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey.

Vipin Das’s involvement in the movie has given mileage to the movie as he has a track record of making films of different genres. His four films Mudhugauv (2016), Antakshari (2022), Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey (2022), and Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil (2024).

The director-producer is expected to team up again with Prithviraj Sukumaran after the tremendous success of their Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil.

Anand Menen’s Gauthamante Radham starred Neeraj Madhav in the lead role. The movie revolves around Gautam and his love towards his first car, Tata Nano. It was a commercial hit.
