Upendra drops the promo of ‘Cheap’ song from ‘UI’

Terming it as the ‘costliest cheap song’ from Upendra’s ‘UI’, the film team has announced that the single will be released on 26 February.

Cheap song promo from Upendra's UI released

Known as an “intelligent” filmmaker, Real Star Upendra’s next directorial UI is inching closer to release. As part of the release process, the film team released the “Cheap” song promo on Wednesday, 14 February.

Upendra penned the lyrics of the “Cheap” song.

The music is composed by Ajaneesh Lokanath.

Vijay Prakash, Nakash Aziz, and Deepak Blue rendered their voices.

The song will be released on 26 February.

Upendra described the song as the costliest “cheap song” in the history of the film industry.

The unusual lyrics of the song stirred a lot of interest amongst his ardent fans on social media platforms.

Dubbing works of UI completed

Upendra recently wrapped up the dubbing work for UI.

The teaser of the film garnered a staggering 23 million views within hours of its release.

The actor expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support and enthusiasm from his fans.

Upendra’s last directorial endeavour was the 2015 film Uppi 2.

Directed by Upendra and featuring the actor in the lead role, UI is produced by G Manoharan and Sreekanth KP under the banners of Lahari Films and Venus Entertainers.

The Kannada film is set for release in eight Indian languages.

Telugu filmmaker Allu Aravind overseeing the distribution of the Telugu version in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states.

With such momentum and anticipation, UI promises to be a cinematic spectacle to watch out for.
