The shooting of the upcoming Telugu film, Thandel, is progressing briskly. In the latest update, the makers have erected a huge set of a Pakistani Jail near BHEL in Hyderabad.
The much-anticipated movie features Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles.
An action drama directed by Chandoo Mondeti, Thandel has Naga Chaitanya playing a fisherman from Srikakulam who gets arrested by Pakistani forces in international waters and is imprisoned.
The makers are filming crucial scenes in the prison set erected near BHEL.
Since the story revolves around imprisonment and the consequences the protagonist faces in Pakistan after unknowingly entering Pakistan waters, this set will play an important role in the plot.
Team Thandel recently wrapped a schedule in a scenic coastal village and the nearby seaport.
Allu Aravind’s Geetha Arts banner is bankrolling it.
Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for the film, which will hit the marquee on 11 October.
