Audience hail Hindi version

Guntur Kaaram was released in theatres on 12 January.

Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the film generated below-average talk, thus leaving Mahesh Babu’s fans high and dry.

It was premiered on Netflix on 9 February.

However, the OTT release piqued the interest of audiences, especially those who already watched the Telugu version and are now exploring the Hindi adaptation.

Notably, the Hindi version retains certain Telugu dialogues like the “Kurchi Madatha Petti” in a peppy song featuring Mahesh and Sreeleela, thereby offering film lovers a unique experience.

Rather than dubbing the phrase in Hindi, the makers of Guntur Kaaram retained the catchy phrase in the Hindi version.

Guntur Kaaram grossed more than ₹200 crore at the box office in its full run in theatres.

Mahesh Babu has huge collections regardless of the talk about the movie.

It is learnt that Netflix bought the digital rights of this movie for ₹80 crore.
