Chiranjeevi has a lineup of exciting projects for 2025. Among them is the yet-to-be-titled Chiranjeevi-Srikanth Odela collaboration.
With the megastar collaborating with the young director, many fans of the actor have high expectations of the project.
Aligning with the same, Srikanth Odela, recently, speaking with Hyderabad Times, revealed a little about the film and the character Chiranjeevi will play.
He said, “This film will be different from his earlier ones. You won’t see the vintage megastar; instead, you’ll see him in a fresh, age-appropriate avatar.” Further speaking of Chiranjeevi’s stardom: “I’m a fan only until Chiranjeevi garu steps out of his caravan. Once he does, he becomes a character in my film.”
“I grew up watching Chiranjeevi garu’s films, and I can’t believe I’m working with him. We finalized the script within 48 hours. It felt like I was on cloud nine,” he added.
Unanimous Productions and SLV Cinemas are jointly producing it, and actor Nani is presenting the project.
The film is expected to be an action entertainer, with the director rising to fame for his debut action entertainer Dasara (2023).
Srikanth Odela is currently working with Nani. This project will go on floors after Nani and Srikanth Odela’s The Paradise gets wrapped.
Chiranjeevi is gearing up for his next release Vishwambhara. Chiranjeevi has another film with director Anil Ravipudi in the pipeline.
Scheduled for release on 9 May 2025, Vishwambhara is a socio-fantasy drama inspired by Hindu mythology. The Telugu movie stars Trisha, Ashika Ranganath, and Kunal Kapoor, reuniting Chiranjeevi and Trisha after 18 years since Stalin (2006).
Produced by V Vamsi Krishna Reddy, Pramod Uppalapati, and Vikram Reddy, the film promises a visually stunning experience, with 70 percent VFX and impressive world-building.
The cinematography is by Chota K Naidu and the production design is by AS Kumar, who created massive sets for this one. Vishwambhara is poised to be a grand cinematic experience.
