Telugu actor-writer Adivi Sesh has raised curiosity for his upcoming film G2 (Goodachari 2) by unveiling six moments. On Saturday, 3 August, he took to social media to launch these special moments.
He shared six stills from the movie with the hashtag #momentsofG2 in 60 minutes. The G2 stills gave the fans and film enthusiasts a glimpse into how the forthcoming spy thriller is shaping up.
The moments of G2 caught Adivi Sesh and Emraan Hashmi in action. The actor shared each still with an interesting caption like “Silence before the Mayhem”, “When your Country gives up on you,” and Friends? Enemies? Rivals?”.
G2 is a sequel to the 2018 blockbuster hit Goodachari, which was also headlined by Adivi Sesh. The actor played the role of a young spy named Agent Gopi 116 in this Sashi Kiran Tikka directorial. It was produced by Abhishek Pictures, People Media Factory and Vista Dream Merchants.
It also starred Sobhita Dhulipala, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Madhu Shalini Vennela Kishore, and Anish Kuruvilla, in supporting roles. Shaneil Deo was the cinematographer and Garry BH was the editor.
Sashi Kiran Tikka, Adivi Sesh, and Rahul Pakala penned the screenplay for Goodachari under the guidance of Abburi Ravi. The project was considered one of the “25 Greatest Telugu Films Of The Decade” by Film Companion.
Now, in G2, Adivi Sesh will reprise his role of Agent Gopi 116. However, he will be on a mission in a foreign country. The sequel is being directed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi. TG Vishwa Prasad, Vivek Kuchibotla, and Abhishek Agarwal are producing it.
G2 boasts a screenplay by Adivi Sesh, cinematography by Azeem Mohammad, and editing by Garry BH. Sricharan Pakala, who worked on the first part, is composing the music and background score for this one too.
G2 was in the news when the makers roped in Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi to play a prominent role (Vijay Saxena) in it. Bollywood actor Banita Sandhu is debuting in Telugu as the female lead. Madhu Shalini and Prakash Raj are also part of the sequel.
The film has been shot in India, the UAE, and Europe. It will hit the screens worldwide in 2025.
