Wamiqa Gabbi joins Adivi Sesh’s ‘G2’

In 'G2', Adivi Sesh will reprise his role of Agent Gopi 116. However, he will be on a mission in a foreign country. The sequel is being directed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi.

The 2018 thriller Goodachari sequel, titled G2 is the most anticipated project of the actor Adivi Sesh.

The film is back in the news, for roping in yet another Bollywood actor Waqima Gabbi. The actor was last seen in the Hindi adaptation of Theri (2016)— Baby John (2024).

Sharing the poster, Adivi Sesh wrote on X: “My partner in c̶r̶i̶m̶e̶ adventure. Welcome to the mission, Wamiqa Gabbi. It’s gonna be amazing to run with you in Europe. THUNDER GLIMPSE loading this Month.”

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi is also set to play a prominent role (Vijay Saxena) in G2. 

Now, in Goodachari 2, Adivi Sesh will reprise his role of Agent Gopi 116. However, he will be on a mission in a foreign country. The sequel is being directed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi. TG Vishwa Prasad, Vivek Kuchibotla, and Abhishek Agarwal are producing it.

Goodachari 2 boasts a screenplay by Adivi Sesh, cinematography by Azeem Mohammad, and editing by Garry BH. Sricharan Pakala, who worked on the first part, is composing the music and background score for this one too.

The film has been shot in India, the UAE, and Europe. It will hit the screens worldwide this year.

Goodachari, which put Adivi Sesh on the map also starred Sobhita Dhulipala, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Madhu Shalini Vennela Kishore, and Anish Kuruvilla, in supporting roles. Shaneil Deo was the cinematographer and Garry BH was the editor.

In this Sashi Kiran Tikka directorial, the actor played the role of a young spy named Agent Gopi 116. It was produced by Abhishek Pictures, People Media Factory, and Vista Dream Merchants.

Sashi Kiran Tikka, Adivi Sesh, and Rahul Pakala penned the screenplay for Goodachari under the guidance of Abburi Ravi. The project was considered one of the “25 Greatest Telugu Films Of The Decade” by Film Companion.
