Singer-composer Ramana Gogula, who last sang for a movie in 2013, is set to make a comeback. This time, he is set to sing for actor Venkatesh in his upcoming film, Sankranthiki Vastunnam.
The film directed by Anil Ravipudi is set to hit the screens for Sankranthi, in January 2025. Sankranthiki Vasthunnaam is being produced by Shirish and presented by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations.
Anil Ravipudi has previously collaborated with Venkatesh twice, for F2 (2019) and F3 (2023), both of which were comedies. However, this time, they are coming up with a crime comedy.
Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary are the female leads, with Upendra Limaye, Rajendra Prasad, Sai Kumar, Naresh, VT Ganesh, Muralidhar Goud, Pammi Sai, Sai Srinivas, Anand Raj, and Chaitanya Jonnalagadda playing other prominent roles.
Bheems Ceciroleo composed the music, Sameer Reddy was in charge of the cinematography, and AS Prakash led the production design.

Incidentally, the first song of Gogula was also for Venkatesh for the film Premante Idera (1998).
A decade earlier, the singer took a sabbatical from film music and chose a corporate life. At present, he is the vice president of Clean Technology Innovation at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc.
Gogula is known for his peculiar voice, which has set him aside from his peers. He is also known for his collaboration with Pawan Kalyan, for whom he sang in four films, all of which were chartbusters.
Announcing the comeback of Ramana Gogula, the makers released a short video of music composer Bheems Cecirolero, lyricist Bhaskara Bhatla and director Anil Ravipudi discussing the first single and who can sing it. They then decide on Ramana Gogula, soon enough the clip shows the singer recording the song.
The director wrote on X: “Excited to have Ramana Gogula garu on board to sing for Victory Venkatesh garu after 18 long years for our #SankranthikiVasthunam First Single. It’s going to be a special song with Bheems Ceciroleo’s terrific composition and Bhaskara Bhatla garu’s amazing lyrics, Coming soon.”
