According to the trade website Sacnilk, Pushpa 2: The Rule performed well on its first 6 days at the box office and earned an estimated ₹645.00 crore India net.
On Wednesday, the film collected about ₹ 42 crore in India, with the Telugu version collecting ₹9 crore, the Hindi version collecting ₹30 crore, the Tamil version collecting ₹2 crore, the Kannada version collecting ₹0.6 crore, and the Malayalam version collecting ₹0.4 crore.
SS Rajamouli’s epic all-time blockbuster Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017) took 10 to 11 days to reach this landmark figure, becoming the second Indian movie after Aamir Khan’s Dangal (2016) to achieve it.
Pushpa 2: The Rule is the eighth Indian film and the fourth Telugu title, following Baahubali 2, RRR (2022), and Kalki 2898 AD (2024), to earn over ₹1000 crore in global gross.
“Pushpa 2: The Rule is a definite improvement over the first one but needed a tighter edit particularly the elongated action sequences which don’t serve much purpose other than establishing Pushpa’s invincibility,” our review read.
