Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film Hari Hara Veera Mallu has a new release date.
The period drama, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and Jyoti Krishna, was initially scheduled to be released on 28 March but is now delayed by more than a month owing to still incomplete post-production work.
On the occasion of Holi, the makers revealed a new release date—9 May.
Sharing the update on Social media, the makers wrote: “The battle is set, and the fight for JUSTICE and DHARMA will be unstoppable! Hari Hara Veera Mallu charges into battle at breakneck speed, and NOTHING will alter the hunt this time. A saga of valor is all set to ignite the screens on May 9th, 2025. A POWER-PACKED ENTERTAINER is loading from Pawan Kalyan Garu, Brace for the storm!”

The Power Star is set to make a grand return to the big screen with this much-anticipated film. This marks the actor’s comeback after a long gap due to his political commitments.
Bollywood stars Anupam Kher and Bobby Deol are also part of the ensemble cast. Niddhi Agerwal plays the female lead. The other major cast includes veteran actors Nassar, Raghu Babu, and Ayyappa P Sharma, alongside Sunil, Narra Srinu, and Nihar.
Ace cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa and VFX supervisor Srinivas Mohan are part of the crew. The film’s music is being composed by Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani.
Produced by A Dayakar Rao under the Mega Surya Productions banner, with AM Rathnam presenting, this epic action film is expected to be a visual spectacle.
The movie promises to showcase Pawan Kalyan in a never-before-seen avatar. The actor plays a warrior outlaw for the first time in his career.

Earlier this year, producer AM Rathnam announced that it is a two-part film. In May 2024, the makers released a teaser which caught the attention of fans and moviegoers with intense sword fights and martial arts.
