Actor turner politician Pawan Kalyan has wrapped the shooting of the film OG under the direction of Sujeeth.

OG set for release on 25 September, is said to revolve around Pawan Kalyan’s character, Ojas Gambheera, a gangster in exile who returns to Mumbai for an important mission.

Sharing the news on X, the makers wrote: “PACKUP for GAMBHEERA… GEAR UP for the RELEASE… See you in theatres on 25 September 2025.”

The Pawan Kalyan film is set to stream on Netflix post it’s theatrical run.

OG also features Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Arul Mohan, and Tamil actor Sriya Reddy in the main roles. The film has music and background score by Thaman.

The film produced by DVV Entertainment has cinematography by Ravi K Chandran and production design by AS Prakash.

Sujeeth had previously directed Sahoo starring Prabhas, and Run Raja Run starring Sharwanand.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu release delayed

Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan’s other film Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s release is reported to be delayed further. The movie promises to showcase Pawan Kalyan in a never-before-seen avatar. The actor plays a warrior outlaw.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu Part-1: Sword vs Spirit was set to release on 12 June, in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada, making it a pan-India project.

Produced by A Dayakar Rao under the Mega Surya Productions banner, with AM Rathnam presenting, this epic action film is expected to be a visual spectacle.

Sharing the news, the makers shared the following statement: “With heartfelt gratitude, we thank all the fans, well-wishers, and cinema lovers who have stood by Hari Hara Veera Mallu with unwavering patience and belief. Despite relentless efforts to meet the previously announced release date of June 12th, we must inform you that the film will not be hitting theatres as scheduled. This decision, though difficult, was necessary. Powerstar Pawan Kalyan Garu’s legacy deserves nothing short of cinematic brilliance, and every frame of this magnum opus must reflect that. We ask for just a little more time, the reward will be worth the wait.”

They further urged the fans to not believe any claim until shared through official handles.
