Venky Atluri's directorial 'Lucky Baskhar' has grossed over ₹100 crore worldwide in two weeks, according to the makers.

Dulqer Salmaan’s last release Lucky Baskhar after running successfully in the theatres for nearly a month is set to make its debut on the OTT platform Netflix.
Venky Atluri’s directorial, the financial drama will be available on the OTT giant from 28 November, in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi.
Sharing the update on X, the OTT platform wrote: “Adhrushtam oka manishini entha dhooram theeskelluthundhi? Watch Lucky Baskhar on Netflix, out 28 November in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi!”

The film has grossed over ₹100 crore worldwide according to the makers. Meenakshi Choudhary plays the female lead opposite Dulquer Salmaan.
Dulquer’s previous Telugu movies Mahanati (2018) and Sita Ramam (2022) missed the ₹100 crore mark by a small margin.
Lucky Baskhar released during the Deepavali weekend on 31 October, collected over ₹60 crore in India according to the Sachnlik website.
The website, which tracks movie collections, further broke down the collections across the South Indian languages.
The film in the 15 days, collected ₹33.99 crore in Telugu, ₹15.53 crore in Malayalam, ₹10.7 crore in Tamil, and ₹0.05 crore in Kannada.
Lucky Baskhar is about a mid-level bank employee scamming the system to become rich. The Sitara entertainments production is set in 1980s Mumbai, coinciding with the times of Harshad Mehta, whose 1992 Indian securities scam collapsed the Indian economy.
Featuring key roles by Sai Kumar, Maanasa Choudhury, Tippu Anand, Ramki, and Hyper Aadi, Lucky Baskhar is co-produced by Fortune Four Cinemas, with music composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
“Lucky Baskhar is a well-made heist drama that has all the elements to be a complete entertainer. Dulquer Salmaan’s performance is a major highlight of the movie,” our review read.
Before Lucky Baskhar, Dulquer Salmaan was seen in the gangster drama King of Kotha (2023). He also appeared in the Hindi web series Guns & Gulaabs(2023), besides Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD, in a cameo.
The actor is now co-producing Kaantha with actor Rana Daggubati.
