'Kuberaa' on OTT. (X)
Sekhar Kammula’s Kuberaa is all set to reach a wider audience, after completing it’s theatrical run.
The film is set to stream on Amazon Prime Video from 18 July, in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
The film starring Dhanush, Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarabh, and Nagarjuna is a social drama.
Sharing the news, the OTT platform wrote on X: “a simple man, and the not so simple journey of his redemption arc ✨#KuberaaOnPrime, July 18.”

Devi Sri Prasad scored the music for Kuberaa, Thota Tharani handled the production design, and Niketh Bommi was the cinematographer. The film released in Tamil and Telugu, and Hindi.
In the film, Dhanush plays the role of a homeless man, who gets caught up in a financial scam, with Nagarjuna playing the role of a former CBI officer, who orchestrates the scam. Meanwhile Jim Sarabh plays the role of a billionaire bussinessman, and Rashmika Mandanna portrays the role of woman who just moved to Mumbai.
Kuberaa received appreciation from both audience and critics. The actors performance was especially lauded widely.
While the film did well in the Telugu states, it didn’t perform as expected in Tamil Nadu.
Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao bankrolled Kuberaa under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, and Amigos Creations Pvt. Ltd.
Kammula is known for Telugu films like Anand (2004) Godavari (2006), Happy Days (2007) and Love Story (2021).
Dhanush meanwhile has his directorial Idly Kadai, and Hindi film Tere Ishq Mein awaiting release and D55 with Rajkumar Periasamy, D56 with Mari Selvaraj in the pipeline.
He also has two biopics, untitled Ilaiyaraaja biopic helmed by Arun Matheswaran, and Kalam: The Missile Man of India – Abdul Kalam biopic under the direction of Om Raut.
