Janhvi Kapoor on Devara

In Devara, Janhvi Kapoor portrays a village belle named Thangam, showcasing a new side of her acting.

In an interview with The Week, she revealed the challenges of learning her lines for the film, as she doesn’t speak Telugu.

“I never learned Telugu, which is something I regret deeply. While I can understand it phonetically, I can’t speak it. The Devara team has been incredibly patient and supportive, and I’m grateful for their help with my lines,” the Bollywood actor added.

Janhvi Kapoor further observed that her character is incredibly entertaining in the Jr NTR-starrer. “Working on that set was a joy due to the team’s dedication and passion. They present each story with conviction and uniqueness, reflecting their distinctive attitude. I feel very fortunate to have had this opportunity.”

Janhvi Kapoor’s father-producer Boney Kapoor recently confirmed in an interview that she is working on films with Ram Charan (RC16) and Suriya.

Reacting to this, the actor said, “I’m not sure what my father has announced. It’s too early to discuss other projects, and he hasn’t talked to me or my producers about them. I wish I could just focus on filming without having to announce, clarify, or deny anything.”
