The Narsingi police have filed a chargesheet against Telugu actor Raj Tarun, following serious allegations made by his ex-girlfriend Lavanya. Reports suggested that the complaint included accusations of cheating, coercion, and infidelity.
Lavanya claimed that she was in a relationship with the actor for 11 years, during which time she was allegedly forced to undergo an abortion and betrayed by his infidelities. She provided hospital reports to the police, confirming her abortion, and claims to have submitted evidence of Raj Tarun’s unfaithfulness.
She said their relationship was severely affected when Raj Tarun began dating his Mumbai-based co-actor Malvi Malhotra, who appeared in Tiragabadara Saami (2024).
Lavanya further alleged that Malvi Malhotra and her brother threatened her. She also filed a complaint against the Mumbai-based actor for harassment.
According to Lavanya, she and Raj Tarun had been secretly married in a temple and their families were aware of their relationship. She stated that the actor promised to marry her legally but ended their relationship to pursue Malvi Malhotra.
The Narsingi police, after reviewing Lavanya’s claims and supporting documents, decided to file a chargesheet against Raj Tarun.
On the other hand, Raj Tarun denied all accusations, asserting that he was not in a relationship with Lavanya since 2017. He accused her of drug addiction and harassment.
According to the actor, Lavanya had a history of making false allegations and also filed a cheating case against a man named Mastan, with whom she was reportedly involved.
Raj Tarun also maintained that he had never married Lavanya and denied having an affair with Malvi Malhotra.
Malvi Malhotra also addressed the media, denying any involvement with Raj Tarun. She expressed frustration over being dragged into the controversy.
She revealed that she had filed a complaint against Lavanya, accusing her of defamation and threats to her family. The Mumbai-based actor added that she stopped communicating with Raj Tarun after Lavanya began targeting her.
