The film stars Bobby Deol in the role of an antagonist, and Urvashi Rautela and Chandini Chaudary play key roles.
The film is produced by Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments and Sai Soujanya of Fortune Four Cinema. It has music by S Thaman.
The teaser introduces Balakrishna as someone who is neither a god nor evil, but a king without his kingdom.
Then the audience is given a glimpse of the actor, as he introduces himself as Daaku Maharaaj. Balakrishna is seen riding a horse, implying that the film will be an action entertainer.
Apart from Daaku Maharaaj, the actor is once again collaborating with Boyapati Srinu, for Akhanda 2- Thaandavam.
