Anna Ben shares her experience working on Kalki 2898 AD

Young Malayalam actor Anna Ben, who appeared as Kyra (a rebel) in Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD has shared her experiences working on the Telugu blockbuster movie.

In an Instagram post, Anna Ben revealed that she was genuinely excited to try out something entirely new when Kyra came to her two years ago.

“I jumped at the opportunity but little did I know that this was going to be a milestone in my career. All thanks to this wonderful man @nag_ashwin who casually just made the most massive movie in Indian cinema and @vyjayanthimovies for making me part of this big family,” Anna Ben’s post read.

The Helen (2019) actor said director Nag Ashwin was a relaxed man throughout the shoot. “I remember asking Nagi sir, how he is always so relaxed… In the two years I have worked, I have never seen him off track or losing it. The man is so zen it’s hard not to get inspired.”

She felt that Nag Ashwin’s vision and curiosity paved the way for a new age cinema. Further, Anna Ben thanked the filmmaker for trusting her to be Kyra among a few of the biggest names in India and giving her the opportunity to act in Kalki 2898 AD.

“Being a fan girl of all the stars in this film, I feel extremely blessed to be a part of this journey and so so grateful!!! Meeting so many wonderful people and working with them, collaborating and learning has been a dream. Thank you all for the love you are giving Kyra, I will work hard to be deserving of it. So much more to say but I’m so overwhelmed,” Anna Ben added.

Meanwhile, Kalki 2898 AD grossed over ₹900 crore at the global box office. On Monday, 8 July, Vyjayanthi Movies announced on social media that the film is “raging toward the magical milestone” (₹1,000 crore).

Thus, the Prabhas-starrer is all set to become the third ₹1,000-crore grosser from the Telugu film industry after Bahubali: The Conclusion (2017) and RRR (2022).
