Actors Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur’s action entertainer Dacoit has locked in it’s release date.
The film is the debut venture of Shaneil Deo, and is co-written by Adivi Sesh and Shaneil Deo. Bheems Ceciroleo has been signed to compose music for the film. Supriya Yarlagadda is producing the film.
Dacoit is being shot in Hindi and Telugu, and is set to on Christmas, 25 December 2025, in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.

Meanwhile, Mrunal Thakur wrote: “A reunion with ex. Bittersweet? No. Catastrophic? Hell, yeah!”
The makers also released a teaser of the film, which showcased glimpses of Adivi Sesh in prison uniform, Murnal Thakur, and an intense Anurag Kashyap. Adivi Sesh is seen saying that he is there to take revenge.
The teaser was shared with the caption: “An explosion of guns & roses, betrayal & trust and above all, love & loss.”
It should be remembered that Shruti Haasan was already signed as the female lead for Dacoit. The filmmakers had also published a brief teaser for their film, which featured Shruti and Adivi Sesh in an action role.
Adivi Sesh was last seen in HIT 2 and will be next seen in G2. Meanwhile, Mrunal Thakur was last seen in Family Star.
On the other hand, Adivi Sesh is also working on G2, a sequel of the 2018 hit Goodachari.
In Goodachari 2, Adivi Sesh will reprise his role of Agent Gopi 116. However, he will be on a mission in a foreign country. The sequel is being directed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi. TG Vishwa Prasad, Vivek Kuchibotla, and Abhishek Agarwal are producing it.
Goodachari 2 boasts a screenplay by Adivi Sesh, cinematography by Azeem Mohammad, and editing by Garry BH. Sricharan Pakala, who worked on the first part, is composing the music and background score for this one too.
