Actor Priyanka Mohan who was last seen in Saripodhaa Sanivaaram escaped unhurt in a shopping mall opening mishap on Thursday, 3 October, in Mahbubabad.
The actor was at the shopping mall opening as chief guest, along with Congress leader Jhansi Reddy, who was injured.
According to reports, a large number of people who came for the opening had got on to the dias to greet the actor, and others, causing the dias to cave in causing the accident.
The video of the incident is now viral on social media. It shows the stage collapsing suddenly, with the people on stage falling. Priyanka Mohan is seen unhurt walking out from there, while Jhansi Reddy was hurt, and unable to walk.

While Priyanka has escaped unhurt, according to a Deccan Chronicle report, Jhansi Reddy suffered a leg fracture and has been shifted to a hospital in Hyderabad for better treatment.
Later in the day, Priyanka Mohan took to X, to share that she had escaped with minor injuries.
She wrote: “In light of the accident that occurred at an event I had attended in Torrur today, I wanted to let my well-wishers know that I’m okay and was lucky to escape with minor injuries. My prayers and wishes for a speedy recovery to those who may have suffered any injuries in the incident. I would like to thank everyone for the kind messages of love and care they sent my way, Thank you.”

Directed by Vivek Athreya and produced by DVV Danayya, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram also stars SJ Suryah in the lead role. Sai Kumar, Abhirami, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Ajay, Murai Sharma, Jhansi, Ajay Ghosh, and Harsha Vardhan appear in crucial roles.
Priyanka Mohan’s character as a police constable in Saripodhaa Sanivaaram had received good responses from the audience and critics alike.
On the work front, Priyanka Mohan will next be seen in Jayam Ravi-starrer Brother and Pawan Kalyan’s highly anticipated gangster drama, OG.
