Actor Akhil Akkineni tied the knot with artist Zainab Ravdjee during the wee hours of Friday, 6 June at the actor’s residence in Hyderabad.
Sharing the news, the actor’s father, Nagarjuna wrote on X: “With immense joy, Amala and I are delighted to share that our dear son has married his beloved Zainab in a beautiful ceremony (3:35 am) at our home, where our hearts belong. We watched a dream come true surrounded by love, laughter, and those dearest to us. We seek your blessings as they begin this new journey together. With love and gratitude. ”

The couple were engaged in August, in a private ceremony. Sharing the news then, Akhil Akkineni took to his Instagram to share the photos. He wrote: “Found my forever. Happy to announce that Zainab Ravdjee and I are happily engaged.”
According to a New Indian Express report, Zainab is an artist and art exhibitionist based in Mumbai but was born and brought up in Hyderabad. Other reports suggest that Zulfi Ravdjee’s companies deal with construction and renewable energy businesses.
Akhil made his entry into film as a child in the film Sisindri (1995), and much later debuted as a lead in Akhil (2015). He later went on to star in Hello (2017) and Mr. Majnu (2019). He achieved his commercial breakthrough with the romantic comedy Most Eligible Bachelor (2021).
He is now awaiting the release of his film Lenin, directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, and starring Sreeleela opposite Akhil.
