Actor Akhil Akkineni, Nagarjuna’s younger son, is engaged to Zainab Ravdjee, the daughter of industrialist Zulfi Ravdjee. The announcement was made by actor Nagarjuna on the social media platform X.
The announcement comes amidst the speculations of his elder son Naga Chaitanya’s wedding to actor Sobhita Dhulipala, who were engaged in August.
According to reports, the engagement ceremony took place in an intimate gathering with close family members.
Referring to Zainab as “to be daughter in law”, Nagarjuna shared on X: “We are thrilled to announce the engagement of our son, Akhil Akkineni, to our daughter in law to be Zainab Ravdjee! We couldn’t be happier to welcome Zainab into our family. Please join us to congratulate the young couple and wish them a lifetime filled with love, joy, and your countless blessings.”

In a separate press statement, the actor said, “As a father, it brings me immense joy to see Akhil take this significant step in his life with Zainab, someone who complements him beautifully. Zainab’s grace, warmth, and artistic spirit have truly made her a wonderful addition to our family.”
Akhil Akkineni too took to his Instagram to share the photos. He wrote: “Found my forever. Happy to announce that Zainab Ravdjee and I are happily engaged.”

According to a New Indian Express report, Zainab is an artist and art exhibitionist based in Mumbai but was born and brought up in Hyderabad. Other reports suggest that Zulfi Ravdjee’s companies deal with construction and renewable energy businesses.
Akhil made his entry into film as a child in the film Sisindri (1995), and much later debuted as a lead in Akhil (2015). He later went on to star in Hello (2017) and Mr. Majnu (2019). He achieved his commercial breakthrough with the romantic comedy Most Eligible Bachelor (2021).
