Helmed by Kalyanji Gogana, Tees Maar Khan features Aadi Saikumar and Payal Rajput in the lead roles. Adi plays the titular role in this mass action thriller.

Tees Maar Khan is a college student who always wanted to join the police force. After so much hard work, he finally achieves his dream job.

But then, he finds himself facing trouble because of a powerful personality who has ties with the mafia.

The plot takes a dramatic turn when Tees Maar Khan’s sister and brother-in-law are murdered. Does Khan succeed in finding the culprit? What happens next forms the crux of the story.

Different shades of Aadi Saikumar

Aadi Saikumar’s character has many layers. He appears in three different avatars: Student, rowdy, and police officer.

In fact, he impresses the audience with his fine performance. He did justice to his role as Tees Maar Khan, which carries varied shades.

It’s no secret that the actor’s career graph has witnessed a lot of crests and troughs over the years. But finally, he has got the much-needed break he deserves. This could be defined as his career’s best performance.

On the other hand, Payal Rajput doesn’t have much scope to perform and she is just alright. The relationship between her and her brother is shown beautifully. In fact, their bond is the driving force of the entire movie.

Sunil, Poorna, Kabir Singh and Anoop Singh Thakur appear in crucial roles. They all do a decent job.

Film lacks freshness

Tees Maar Khan is a blend of all commercial elements. It has entertainment, romance, comedy, love, emotions and sentiments. Some of the comedy scenes will tickle the bones of the viewers.

The beach song and a few action scenes are shot well. However, the film overall lacks freshness and could have been handled in a better way. A routine storyline coupled with the usual dose of romance-action is what we find in every film. It’s time Tollywood moved past this formula.

The movie is slow-paced in some parts, all thanks to the lazy narration. Similarly, not all the commercial elements go down well with the viewers.

After a couple of predictable scenes, the film begins to feels uninteresting, even annoying. Kalyanji Gogana utterly fails to keep the audience engaged. The film puts up an average show even in terms of technical aspects.

In all, Tees Maar Khan is a commercial package with a routine premise and slow narration. Want to watch it? Your call.
