Earlier the team revealed that Malayalam star Nivin Pauly is set to play the role of Walter, the antagonist in Benz.

Jagadish Palanisamy and Sudhan Sundaram will back Benz under The Route and Passion Studios banners, respectively.

The teaser of the film showed Raghava in a chef’s role. However, at the end of the teaser, the actor is seen splattered with blood. The story of Benz is by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Independent musician Sai Abhyankkar, who rose to fame with songs like “Aasa Kuda” and “Katchi Sera”, will debut as a music composer for the film.

Lokesh earlier revealed that a 10-minute short film about the origins of LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe) will be released soon.

Kaithi (2019), Vikram (2022) and Leo (2023) are the films part of LCU, and this short film is supposed to reveal the common thread between these films.

In all three films, characters from other films have a cameo, or a plot point is motivated by another film.

On the other hand, Lokesh also hinted at the possibility of Kaithi 2 with Karthi, on the fifth anniversary of the film.

The director is now busy with Rajinikanth’s Coolie, which he confirmed will not be part of his Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU).

Touted as a gangster action film, Coolie will feature action sequences choreographed by the renowned Anbariv duo.
