Suirya’s Kanguva is all set for a grand release in two days on 14 November. With Kanguva being a high-budget period drama, the producers are trying to gain the maximum momentum in the first few days.

To achieve the same, the makers have been trying to screen early morning special shows of the film in the south Indian shows.

While the Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Kerala governments have already permitted 4 AM shows on 14 November, the Tamil Nadu government in an official statement on Tuesday, 12 November, permitted 9 AM shows on the release day.

The permission comes after Studio Green sought special shows for 5 am on 14 and 15 November.

However, the government has granted only one special show for 9 am on 14 November. While the first show is allowed only for 9 am, the last show should end at 2 am. The maximum number of shows allowed in Tamil Nadu theatres is limited to five per day.

Thanking the Tamil Nadu government, the production house shared the government order on their X handle.

The statement also established guidelines for theatres, stating that they should set up suitable security measures to allow people to enter and exit without any problems and to give enough time for hygienic cleaning and maintenance.

Additionally, it stated that proper plans should be made with the police department’s assistance and security to prevent health problems and theatre crowding.
