Filmmaker Atlee was a notable presence at most of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding ceremonies. According to YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, who was also present at many of the celebrations, Atlee made a special 10-minute animated film with Amitabh Bachchan’s voice-over.
Known for his YouTube channel “The Beer Biceps”, Ranveer shared his experience of the Ambani wedding in a podcast with American comedian-actor Akaash Singh.
Describing the Ambani wedding, Ranveer said a 10-minute animated film, with Amitabh’s voiceover, made by Atlee was shown to the guests on day two of the wedding ceremony. He also shared that the Baaraat featured a long road with stations, each hosting a music superstar.
He noted, “Instead of simply walking forward like at a normal wedding, the crew stopped at each station for a mini-concert, with the artist performing and everyone in the Baaraat going crazy.”
Atlee, a former assistant of Shankar, gained fame with the 2023 blockbuster Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan. He is now producing Baby John with Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh.
Atlee debuted in Tamil cinema with Nayanthara’s comeback film Raja Rani (2013) and later directed Vijay in Theri (2016), Mersal (2017), and Bigil (2019).

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant tied the knot on 12 July at a grand wedding ceremony in Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre. Several international guests, including Kim Kardashian, John Cena, Khloe Kardashian, Tony Blair, and Boris Johnson attended it.
Indian celebrities like Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, and Mahesh Babu along with notable politicians, influencers, and business leaders also attended.
Radhika Merchant is the daughter of pharma tycoons Viren and Shaila Merchant.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his blessings to the newlyweds at a reception hosted by the Ambanis, underscoring their growing influence. The Ambanis have not disclosed the cost of the elaborate festivities, which have spanned months.
During a three-day pre-wedding celebration in March, Rihanna and Akon performed for a select audience of 1,200 guests.
Mukesh Ambani, the groom’s father, is the world’s ninth-richest person with a net worth of $116 billion, according to Forbes, and the richest in Asia. His conglomerate, Reliance Industries, reports over $100 billion in annual revenue and spans petrochemicals, oil and gas, telecoms, and retail.
Anant Ambani, the 29-year-old groom, oversees the conglomerate’s renewable and green energy ventures and manages a 3,000-acre animal rescue centre in Jamnagar, Gujarat.
