'Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam' to release on 7 February. (X)
Actor-director Dhanush’s directorial Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam has finalised its release date. The actor, on Wednesday, 11 December, took to X, to announce that the film will be released ahead of valentines day, on 7 February 2025.
He also announced that Red Giant Movies has acquired the distribution rights of the film in Tamil Nadu.
Sharing the same, the production company wrote on X: “We’re beyond excited to be partnering with Dhanush and Wunderbar Films for the Tamil Nadu theatrical distribution of #NEEK. With Love, Worldwide Release on 7th Feb,2025”

The makers in the past few days released two singles from the film—”Golden Sparrow” and “Kadhal Failu”.
GV Prakash Kumar is scoring the music for NEEK, and will also play a key role. While Leon Britto has been roped in as the cinematographer and GK Prasanna is the editor.
NEEK features a host of young and upcoming actors, including Pavish, Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Matthew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, and Ramya Ranganathan.
It will technically be Dhanush’s third directorial and produced by his parents Kasthoori Raja and Vijayalakshmi Kasthoori Raja for his firm Wunderbar Films.
Dhanush made his directorial debut with Pa Paandi (2017) (Short for Power Pandi), which featured Rajkiran, Revathi, Madonna Sebastian and himself in the lead.
His other directorial Idli Kadai is set to release on 10 April. The film will also star Dhanush. Nitya Menen is set to act opposite the actor. The duo are coming together after the 2022 hit Thiruhitrambalam.
The Tamil actor is now busy shooting for Kubera, directed by the Telugu director Shekar Kammula. It also stars Telugu star Nagarjuna.
The film team unveiled the first-look teaser of the much-anticipated flick on 8 March.
